2024 was not your average vintage. Harvest began at the end of February and was completed just four weeks later. But despite the vintage being short and compressed, each vineyard ripened in a nice orderly fashion.
Whites from 2024 have a purity to them, with pristine fruit, crisp acid and a long fine finish. They are expressive now but, in the case of Riesling and Chardonnay, offer a long life ahead as well.
Crushed, de-stemmed and then pressed using a membrane press. The ferment was kept slow and cool to retain all the natural flavours and aromatic qualities. The juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks at a cool temperature to retain all the natural flavours and aromatic qualities.
The wine was blended, clarified, filtered and then bottled soon afterwards so the wine was a true expression of the grape/terroir from which it was made.
